Mr. Juan B. Rubio

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Juan B. Rubio, age 69, of Winder, Georgia who entered rest Friday August 23, 2024. Mr. Rubio was born in El Salvador the son of the late Jose Rubio and the late Maria Reyes Rubio.

Mr. Rubio was owner/operator of a Shell Station in New York. He attended Bethlehem Church, loved listening to music and watching soccer. 

Survivors include his wife, Julia E. Rubio of Winder, GA. Five daughters, Daisy Escobar (Rey) of Canada, Coritza Ortez (Jose Tavo) of New York, Jaylee Pieria (Fredys) of New York, Julia Escobar (Oscar) of Dacula, GA and Jessica Luna (Eric) of Winder, GA. Twenty seven grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way. Ten siblings and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday August 26, 2024 in the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Evans Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home.
