Mr. Keith Van Barber

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Keith Van Barber, age 76, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Tuesday March 4, 2025. Mr. Barber was born in Dallas, Georgia the son of the late Durrell Barber and the late Sarah Dora Head Barber.

Mr. Barber worked as a plant manager with Avondale Mills, Monroe, Georgia. Keith was a graduate of Georgia Tech with a bachelor degree in engineering and was a member of First Baptist Church Jefferson. He loved his animals, especially his dog Wiley, but most of all just being at home with Charlene.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-years, Charlene G. Barber of Jefferson, GA. Son Daniel Barber of Salina, Kansas. Sister, Martha Smith of Anderson, S.C. and a brother, Rell Barber of Adairsville, GA. 

In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated and no formel services are to be held.
