Mr. Kenneth A Whitsel

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Kenneth A. Whitsel, age 76, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Sunday March 30, 2025. Mr. Whitsel was born in Jefferson, Georgia the son of the late Thurmond Odell Whitsel and the late Lavonia Elzora Boyd Whitsel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tanya Renee Whitsel Cain.

Mr. Whitsel was a self employed painter and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-eight years, Sharon J. Whitsel of Jefferson, GA.  Daughters, Karen Whitsel McDaniel and son-in-law, Michael of Gainesville, GA. Brother, Neal Whitsel of Danielsville, GA. Grandson, Kenneth Logan McDaniel (Fiance, Lucy) of Gainesville, GA. Honorary grandchildren, Candler Cain and Kinleigh Cain. Honorary children, David and Jenn Cain.

Memorial services will be held 3:00 P.M. Thursday April 3, 2025 at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Eric Shelton officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.
