Mr. Michael Joseph Carlin

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Michael Joseph Carlin, age 62 of Murrayville, Georgia who entered rest Tuesday, October 22, 2024.  Mr. Carlin was born in Sacramento, California the son of the late Clark and Janet Himmerick Carlin.  Mr. Carlin was a Building Engineer for The Simpson Organization.  He loved yard work, spending time at home with his dogs and wife, spending time with his grandchildren, talking about football and watching the Denver Broncos play when he could. 

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Anne Edwards Carlin of Murrayville.  Daughter, Jenifer Craig (Joshua) of Jefferson.  Son, Joshua Carlin (Tracy) of Winder.  Four grandchildren, Ashton Carlin of Auburn, Camren Houck of Jefferson, Brantlee Craig of Jefferson, Rhylee – Ann Craig of Jefferson.  Two sisters, Sherri Savage (Ron) of Denver, Christie Carlin of Denver.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 P.M. Friday, October 25, 2024 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with burial to follow in Evans Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. prior to the service.
