Mr. Paul Ray Chesser

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Paul Ray Chesser, age 64, of Monroe, Georgia, formerly of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Friday March 8, 2024.  Mr. Chesser was born in Norcross, Georgia the son of the late Claude and Virginia Chesser. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Mr. Chesser was owner/operator of Chesser Motor Company, Jefferson, GA. He was a Christian, loved music, dancing and cars but most of all he loved being a “Papa”.

Survivors include two sons, Ben Williamson (Gabby) of Charleston, SC and Tate Chesser (Kayla) of Suwanee, GA. Daughter, Sydney Williamson of Jefferson, GA. Five grandchildren, Lawson Chesser, Layton Chesser, Landon Chesser, Diana Williamson and Harper Haggerty. 

Memorial services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday March 14, 2024 at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dwayne Wellborn officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.
