Mr. Richard Warren Hunter II

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Richard Warren Hunter II, age 74, of Pendergrass, Georgia who entered rest Friday, March 14, 2025.  Mr. Hunter was born April 26, 1949 in Thomaston, Georgia a son of the late Richard Warren and Sarah Joan Chestnut Hunter. Mr. Hunter was a maintenance worker at Lanier Technical College until his retirement. He was a United States Marine Corp veteran and was of the Presbyterian faith.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Hunter is preceded by the mother of his children, Martha Jean Pethel Hunter. 

Survivors include his wife Alberta Marie Hunter, sons, Warren Grey Hunter (Manilyn Abarido Hunter), Bethlehem, Ian Scott Hunter, Savannah, Eric Thurston Hunter, Pendergrass; brother, Vance Scott Hunter (Susan Gayle Hunter), Winder, sister, Lee Ann Hunter, Atlanta; granddaughter, Erika Jean Hunter, Bethlehem; and multiple nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 18, 2025, from the Talmo Baptist Church Cemetery.   Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Marine Corp.  The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday at Evans Funeral Home.
