Mr. Samuel Frank Satterfield

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Samuel Frank Satterfield, age 76 of Pendergrass, Georgia who entered rest Saturday, April 6, 2024.  Mr. Satterfield was born in Jefferson, Georgia a son of the late Harold Lloyd Satterfield and the late Clara Nell Hooper Satterfield.  Mr. Satterfield was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a member of Mountin Creek Baptist Church and was a retired Auto Mechanic.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Satterfield is preceded by sisters, Linda S. Albertson, and Carol S. Cofield.  Brothers, Mitchell Ray Satterfield, Curtis Dean Satterfield and Kenneth Jack Satterfield.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-three years, Gwen Cooper Satterfield of Pendergrass.  Daughter, Samantha Satterfield Weaver (Jonathan) of Pendergrass.  Sister, Nancy Satterfield Skelton Whitlock of Pendergrass.  Brother, Harold L. Satterfield Jr. (Barbara) of Cleveland, Georgia.  Three grandchildren, Ella, Evan and Ethan Weaver of Pendergrass also survive.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from the Mountain Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Tim Strickland and Reverend Preston Graham officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Jeff Graham officiating.  Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Jason Skelton, David Satterfield, Jody Cooper, Jonathan Cooper, Mark Satterfield, Clay Satterfield, Wesley Satterfield and Taylor Satterfield.

The family will receive friends 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Evans Funeral Home.
