Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Joseph Shane Pendley, age 43 of Sugar hill, Georgia who entered into rest Friday, August 27, 2021. Mr. Pendley was born in Buford, Georgia a son of George Dariel Pendley of Jefferson and the late Susan Clark Dunn and was a self-employed Independent Contractor in the Construction Industry.
In addition to his father, survivors include two brothers, Scott Pendley and his wife Christy of Jefferson, Chad Dunn of Buford, nieces and nephews, Brandon Pendley, Victoria Pendley, Cheyenne Pendley and Zoe Pendley. Two aunts, Shelia Tuggle and Margie Stone, two uncles, Carlton Pendley and John Pendley. Several cousins also survive.
Memorial services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 1, 2021 from the Jefferson Pentecostal Church, 7299 Jefferson River Road, Athens, Georgia with Pastor Richard Howard officiating. The family will receive friends at the church during the service.
