Mr. Steve Wade Lambert, Sr.

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Steve Wade Lambert, Sr., age 70, of Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025. Mr. Lambert was born in Atlanta, Georgia, a son to the late Finn Wade Lambert, Jr. and the late Addie Jo Fowler. Mr. Lambert was a self-employed residential contractor and was of the Christian faith. He was also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Survivors include his wife, Judith Ann Hansford Lambert of Jefferson; son, Stephen Wade Lambert, Jr. and his wife Courtney Patterson of Jefferson; son, James Wade Houston and his wife Amy Beth of Baldwin, son, Brian Mealor and his wife Cathy of Jefferson; sister, Beverly Clark of Carrolton, sister, Annette Lambert of Rome; brother, Kenneth Lambert of Rome; sister, Pam Burns of Concord, NC, sister, Patricia Edwards of Rome, sister, Debra Wall of New York; nine grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

In accordance with Mr. Lambert’s wishes, his body was cremated and no services are planned at this time.
