Mr. Terry Bennett

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. George Terence “Terry” Bennett, age 68, of Braselton, who passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023. Mr. Bennett was a son to the late William Thomas “Bill” Bennett and the late Ruth Jennings Bennett. Mr. Bennett was a graduate of Athens Technical College and was the owner of Premier Pump and Equipment. 

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Dee Jones Bennett of Braselton; son, Adam Clay Bennett of Flowery Branch and granddaughter, Avril Bennett. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Teresa Lilja officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Evans Funeral Home.
