Mr. Tommy Edgar Tallent

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Tommy Edgar Tallent, age 63, of Flowery Branch, Georgia who entered rest Monday October 31, 2023. Mr. Tallent was born in Pontiac, Michigan the son of the late Donald E. Tallent and Evelyn Ledford Tallent of Flowery Branch.  In addition to his dad, Mr. Tallent is preceded by his wife Pamela Karen Tallent, a step-daughter, Tracy Childs. Mr. Tallent worked at National Steel and was a member of Free Chapel in Gainesville. 

In addition to his mother, survivors include a son, TJ Tallent of Idaho Falls, ID. Three grandchildren, Isaiah Emanuel Tallent, Eliana Grace Tallent and Elijah Luke Tallent. Three step-children, Mary Lena Waldrip, Scott Childs and Berry Childs. Two sisters, Donna Tallent Gore and Debora Stone. Nieces and nephews, Shauna Mercier, Krista Moreno, Micheal Tallent and Brandon Dunn.

Celebration of life services will be held 12:00 Noon, Monday, November 6, 2023 at Free Chapel in Gainesville Ga. with Pastor James Glutting officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Free Chapel.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Leader Dogs for the Blind, 1039 South Rochester Rd. Rochester Hills, MI 48307.
