Mr. Tracey Allen Satterfield

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Tracey Allen Satterfield, age 54, of Athens, Georgia, who passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. Mr. Satterfield was born in Winder, GA, a son to Mrs. Evelyn Satterfield of Pendergrass and the late Mr. Walter Abe Satterfield. Mr. Satterfield worked as a painter with his sons and attended the New Grace Baptist Church in Commerce. In addition to his father, Mr. Satterfield was preceded in death by his grandparents, Myron and Ruby Cooper, Abe and Leola Satterfield and his aunt, Nancy Cooper. Tracey’s wife, Roxanne Satterfield, passed away on the following day, December 23, 2020.

Survivors include his sons, Wesley Satterfield of Pendergrass; Caleb Satterfield and his wife Kristina of Commerce; mother, Evelyn Satterfield of Pendergrass; brothers, Mark Satterfield and his wife Susan of Pendergrass, Clay Satterfield and his wife Jenny of Gainesville; and the mother of his two sons, Tracy Jane Satterfield of Pendergrass; five nieces, one nephew, five great nieces and 3 great nephews also survive. 

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Mt. Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Tim Strickland and Reverend Jeff Graham officiating. The burial will follow in the Mt. Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Clay Satterfield, Mark Satterfield, Caleb Satterfield, Wesley Satterfield, Taylor Satterfield, Pinky Patterson and Richard Phillips honored as pallbearers.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, December 24, 2020 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM in the Mt. Creek Baptist Church, prior to the service.
