Mr. Walter Michael Dunn

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Walter Michael Dunn, age 71, of Hoschton, Georgia who entered rest Wednesday February 25, 2026. Mr. Dunn was born in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late Dock Junior Dunn and the late Mary Marjorie Taylor Dunn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bonella Green Dunn. Mr. Dunn worked in the maintenance department with the Jackson County School System.

Survivors include his daughter, Michele Dunn Heidish (Bryan) of Dacula, GA. Two grandchildren, Ava Heidish and Cooper Heidish both of Dacula, GA. 

In accordance with Mr. Dunn’s wishes, he remains were cremated and a graveside celebration of life service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 13, 2026 at Evans Memory Gardens with the Reverend Elvira Rogers officiating.  The family will receive friends at the graveside.
