Mr. Walter Kenneth Farmer

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Walter Kenneth “Buddy” Farmer, age 81, of Nicholson, Georgia, who passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026. Mr. Farmer was born in Porterdale, Georgia, a son to the late Walter William Farmer and the late Ione Starr Houseman Farmer. Mr. Farmer  was a retired building Contractor. In addition to his parents, Mr. Farmer was preceded in death by his wife, Laquila Lee Sosbee Farmer and his son, Walter Kenneth “Ken” Farmer Jr.

A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Bogart United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Reverend Joe Huff officiating.
