Warren S. Lusk, Jr

His life on earth was cut short. He would echo the same sentiment. Warren wasn’t done living life, raising his young family, or boating the waters. Warren leaves behind his wife of 25 years, April McCook Lusk of Jefferson. Son, Colton Lusk and daughter Olivia Lusk both of Jefferson. Parents, Warren Scott Lusk, Sr. and Yvonne Cobb Lusk of Commerce. Grandmother, Mae Cobb also of Commerce. Nieces, Paiten Lusk of Jefferson and Emery Adcock of Bishop. Warren was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Shane Lusk. 

Although reserved at times, Warren had a strong presence and was never lost for words. He was a devoted, level-headed and stubborn man who loved God and his family above all else. From the moment Warren and his wife, April, met as teenagers, they were inseparable. Each was a perfect compliment to the other, steadfast partners in every aspect of their lives. Colton and Olivia were their greatest accomplishment; Warren always beamed with pride at the mention of his two kids. 

His sly grin and sarcasm will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. He leaves a deafening silence in his wake and a void in the hearts of many. 

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, November 27 at the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Nelms officiating with burial to follow in Evans Memory Gardens. Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Kevin Norris, Trevor Norris, Dustin Lusk, Matt Adcock, and Knox McKinney. The family will receive friends 5:00 - 6:30 PM Sunday, November 26 at Evans Funeral Home.
