Mr. Wayne Collins

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Leavy Wayne Collins, age 75 of Jefferson who entered rest Friday, December 26, 2025.  Mr. Collins was born in Claxton, Georgia a son of the late Leavy and Ima Jean Sikes Collins.  Mr. Collins was a retired Correctional Officer with the Georgia Department of Corrections.

In accordance with the wishes of Mr. Collins, his remains are to be cremated and no services held locally.
