Mrs. Amparo Aragon

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Amparo Aragon, age 88, of Jefferson, who passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023. Mrs. Aragon was born in Mexico, a daughter to the late Salvador Aragon and the late Elena Lopez Aragon. Mrs. Aragon attended St. Catherine’s Laboure Catholic Church in Jefferson, GA and was retired after years of faithful work in several jobs.

Survivors include her husband, Vicente Estrada of Jefferson; children, Maria G. Magaña, Esperanza Gutierez, Guillermo Estrada, Gloria Godinez, Carlos Estrada, Graciela Estrada; grandchildren, Jassmine M. Magaña, Kate H. Magaña, Juve Magaña, Hector Sanchez, Marco  Antonio Sanchez, Miriam Araceli Sanchez, Edgar Sanchez, Cesar Sanchez, Maricela Diaz, Carlos Godinez, Daniel Godinez, Guillan Suset Estrada, Daniel Estrada, Carlos Jr Estrada, Marvella Estrada, Javier Jr Gutierez, Isis Gutieres; thirty two great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Columba Salas, Ana Aragon, Esperanza Aragon, Elena Gutierez, Alberto Aragon and numerous other relatives also survive.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Deacon Luis Polanco officiating.
