Mrs. Betty Ann (Roberts) Hardy

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Betty Ann Roberts Hardy, age 92 of Athens, Georgia (South Jackson Community) who entered rest Sunday, July 14, 2024.  Mrs. Hardy was born in Jackson County, Georgia a daughter of the late Pearl Tolbert Roberts and the late Bill Roberts.  Mrs. Hardy retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was most recently a homemaker.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Hardy  is preceded by her husband Hoke Harris Hardy and a grandson, Vincent Lee Hardy, brother, Tommy Roberts, sisters, Jean Roberts and Marilyn Allen.

Survivors include two sons, Tom Hardy (Teri) and Mitchell Delk (Mandy).  One brother, Buddy Roberts of Atlanta. Grandchildren, Halton Harris Hardy, Katie Elizabeth Hardy, Alexis Hardy Greene, Jordan Nunn Hewell, Sayer Delk and Rosie Delk.  Six great grandchildren, Cannon Hunter, Ellis Greene, Chesley Rakestraw, Hutsen Hewell, Hendrix Hewell and Hardy Hewell.  Many close friends and other relatives also survive.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
