Mrs. Brenda Elaine (Elrod) McGee

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Brenda Elaine Elrod McGee, age 82, of Maysville, Georgia, who passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024. Mrs. McGee was born in Winder, Georgia, a daughter to the late William Cedric “W.C.” Elrod and the late Marjorie Maughon Elrod. Mrs. McGee was retired from the Jackson County DEFACS office and was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church in Jefferson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McGee was preceded in death by her husband Merlin “Mac” McGee, daughter, Natalie Hall and sons, David Hall and Stanley Hall. 

Survivors include her son, Mark Lane Hall and his wife Karen of Braselton; grandchildren, Terra Hall, Haley Hall, Dalton Hall and his wife Nicole; great grandchildren, Kinzley Hall, Cassius Hall; brothers, Pete Elrod and his wife Dora of Gilbert, SC and Don Elrod and his wife Jan of Jefferson, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Eric Shelton officiating. 

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Evans Funeral Home.
