Mrs. Catherine Mary (Shulas) Dye

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Catherine Mary Dye, age 78, of Braselton, Georgia who entered rest Thursday September 5, 2024. Mrs. Dye was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey the daughter of the late Peter Shulas and the late Catherine Berezinski Shulas. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bentley Dye, son, Peter Dye and a sister, Arlene Inzano.

Mrs. Dye retired from Pathmark Distribution Center. She loved to work crossword puzzles, work in her yard, watching the Dallas Cowboys but most all spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. 

Survivors include her daughter, Audrey Kutchinsky of Braselton, GA. Four grandchildren, Ashley Dye of Braselton, GA, Brianna Helms (her wife,Tayler) of Commerce, GA, Ty Kutchinsky of Braselton, GA and Courtney Dye of Rocky Mount, NC. Three great grandchildren, Lillian, Layla and Kalhani Velasquez. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In accordance with Mrs. Dye’s wishes, she will cremated and a family gathering will take place at a later date.
