Mrs. Cheryl Ann (Crone) Petty

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Cheryl Ann Crone Petty, age 77, of Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024. Mrs. Petty was born in San Diego, California, a daughter to the late John and Betty Jean Douglas Crone. Mrs. Petty worked at AT&T in Corporate Investigations, and was  member of St. Catherine Labouré Catholic Church in Jefferson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Petty was preceded in death by her husband, George William Petty Jr., brother, John Crone and her sister, Earlene Reeves. Survivors include her son, Michael Joseph Petty and his wife Ellyne of Hawthorne, NJ; daughter, Georganna Gullia and her husband Emil of Marietta, GA; grandchildren, Kevin (Carol) Petty, Rachel (Andrew) Gavrun, Shannon Petty, Ronan Gullia, Evelyn Gullia; and a Great Grandchild, Kaya Petty also survives.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 3:00 PM in the St. Catherine Labouré Catholic Church in Jefferson with Father Matthew Howard officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM at Cheryl’s home following the Mass on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.
