Mrs. Cheryl Denise Turner

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Cheryl Denise Turner, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend transitioned peacefully from this life to the next on January 16, 2022, she was fifty-five years old. Mrs. Turner was born in Atlanta, Georgia the daughter of Edward Chatlos of Florida and Rebecca Lanell Coker Tinsley of Jefferson, Georgia. Mrs. Turner worked as a real estate agent with Century 21 and was of the Baptist Faith. As someone with a big heart and a big family, Denise left behind a lot of people who loved her deeply.

Survivors also include husband, David Turner of Jefferson, GA; four daughters, Mandy Turner of Cumming, GA, Carrie Barry (husband, Mamadou) of Buford, GA, Missy Hogan (husband, Patrick) of Snellville, GA and, Alisha Turner of Dahlonega, GA; two sons, Josh Turner (wife, Kyra) of Jefferson, GA and, Chris Turner (Cyndi) of Griffin, GA; fourteen grandchildren, Zachary Turner, K.J. Foote, Cameron Turner, Devin Barry, Mikah Ortiz, Harper Hogan, Landon Turner, Keira Wilkerson, Addie Turner, Madelyn Turner, Tate Turner and, Jolie Turner; three sisters, Denise Gaitan of Florida, Rhonda Brown of AL and, Teresa Singleton of Dawsonville, GA; two brothers, Michael Cook of Cumming, GA and, Pete Tinsley of Canton, GA; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022, in the Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Evans Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
