Mrs. Daisy Clark Stowe Porter

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Daisy Clark Stowe Porter, age 91 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Thursday, August 27, 2020.  Mrs. Porter was born in Commerce, Georgia a daughter of the late James Coyle Clark and the late Omie Carroll Clark, was a member of The Jefferson Church and was a Homemaker.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Porter is preceded by brothers, J.B., Odell, and Billy.  Sisters, Sadie, Rosella, Beatrice, Lilly Mae, and Ann.  Husband and father of her children, Gene “Bug” Stowe and husband Harvis “Lum” Porter.

Survivors include a son, Jimmy Stowe and his wife Judy of Pendergrass, daughter, Diane Wood of Homer, son, David Stowe and his wife Glenda of Murrayville, daughters, Brenda Parker and her husband Jerry of Hiawassee and Linda Reidling and her husband Jimmy of Jefferson.  Two sisters in laws, Rena Stowe and Sarah Clark of Jefferson.  Nine grandchildren, nineteen great - grandchildren, and eleven great- great grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 29, 2020 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Mobley and Reverend Bobby Reidling officiating with burial to follow in the Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Friday, August 28, 2020.
