Mrs. Dianna "Dee Dee" (Athey) Lynn

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Dianna “Dee Dee” Lynn, age 65, of Braselton, Georgia who entered rest Sunday March 22, 2026. Mrs. Lynn was born in Atlanta, Georgia the daughter of the late Jim Wilson and the late Barbara Davis Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Michael Lynn.

Mrs. Lynn worked for Primerica and most recently attended Hoschton Baptist Church. Dee Dee was a faithful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She adored her family, and cared deeply for others. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and making lasting memories. She cherished time with family and friends - whether it was cruising, riding ATVs, hiking, or simply being with one another. She loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.

Survivors include her husband, David Lynn of Braselton, GA. Daughter, Mandy Page (Derik) of Jefferson, GA. Son, David Lynn of Winder, GA. Grandchildren, Nicholas Page (Claire) of Jefferson, GA, Janet Allen (Hunter) of Buford, GA, Peyton Llewallyn of Lula, GA, Logan Page of Jefferson, GA and Autumn Page of Jefferson, GA. Two great grandchildren, Mason and Banks Allen. Three sisters, Sonia Bentley of Loganville, GA, Roxanne Mote (Steve) of Loganville, GA and Cindy Scott of St. Mountain, GA. Two step-sisters, Karen King of NC and Donna Shuman (Allen) of Kennesaw, GA. In laws, Lamar and Jackie Lynn of Braselton, GA, Dennis and Terry Lynn of Blairsville, GA. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 26, 2026 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Cory Sexton and Pastor Terry Page officiating. Burial will follow in Evans Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home.
