Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Dianne Perry Pless, age 77, of Toccoa, Georgia who entered rest Saturday May 11, 2024. Mrs. Pless was born in Athens, Georgia the daughter of the late Charles “Doc” Perry and the late Sarah Dell Adams Perry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Frank Pless (who passed away on May 2, 2024) and a brother, David Perry.
Mrs. Pless worked 19 years with the Stephens County Hospital in Enviromental Services. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, Toccoa, GA. She loved traveling with her husband when he played bluegrass music. She enjoyed doing word searches and making colored pencil art and loved to thrift and find a treasure. Her great grandchildren were her biggest joy.
Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Pursley (Joe) of Jefferson, GA. Granddaughter, Halley Zeigler (Steven) of Jefferson, GA. Two great grandchildren, Colton & Maisyn Zeigler. Two step-daughters, Debra Dickerson & Family of Toccoa, GA and Denise Ishman & Family of Savannah, GA. Brother, Rodney Perry.
Memorial services will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday May 18, 2024 at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dugar Strickland officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until time of service at 3:00 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home.
