Mrs. Donna Lee (Murin) Johnson

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Donna Lee Johnson, age 85, of Jefferson, who passed away on December 19, 2023. Mrs. Johnson was born in New York, New York, a daughter to the late Theodore and Edith Frances Smith Murin. Mrs. Johnson earned her bachelor’s degree from the New England Conservatory, where she majored in voice and minored in piano. She was a part owner in an insurance company in Stuart, Fl and loved her pet Weimaraners.

Survivors include her sister, Linda Springer of Jefferson; nieces, Susan Ruscoe of Cleveland, GA, Kathleen Gibbs of Bronson, FL; nephews. William Ruscoe, Pearl River, LA and Robert Ruscoe of MacClenny, FL.

In accordance with Mrs. Johnson wishes, her remains were cremated and no services are planned at this time.
