Mrs. Donna Jean (Webster) Nelson

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Donna Jean Webster Nelson, age 86, of Blue Ridge, Georgia, who passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

Mrs. Nelson was born in Rock Island, Illinois, a daughter to the late Walter and Emma Arp Webster, and was a respiratory therapist. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nelson was preceded in death by her siblings, Helen Bottoni, Betty Melody, Mary Baker, Bernice Baker, Ray Webster, George Webster, Walter Webster Jr. and Johnny Webster.

Survivors include her loving husband of 68 years, James Leroy Nelson of Blue Ridge; daughter, Debbie Nelson and her husband Taylor Hanson of Jefferson, son,  Dougal Nelson and his wife Pam of Moline, IL; and a multitude of Nieces and Nephews also survive.

In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Nelson’s remains were cremated, and a private family memorial service will be held on a later date.
