Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Erika Lee Gary, age 35 of Commerce, Georgia who entered rest Sunday, September 7, 2025.  Mrs. Gary was born in Watertown, New York, a daughter of Sam William Pond (Marsha) of Jefferson and Jutta Hartmann Davis of Commerce.  Mrs. Gary was a homemaker and loving wife, mother, daughter and sister.

Survivors include her husband, Hamp Gary of Commerce.  Two daughters, Cassie Gary and Hayden Gary of Jefferson.  Three sisters, Melissa Pond (Destinie) of Commerce, Kortney Edwards (Derek) of Farmington, and Chelsea Swaim of Commerce.  Two brothers, Trenton Thompson of Eugene, Oregon, and Holten Bradshaw of Winterville.  Grandparents, Barbara and Virgil Pond of Commerce, Darrell and Glenda Gabriel of Winterville.

In accordance with the wishes of Mrs. Gary her remains are to be cremated with a private family service to be held.
