Mrs. Estelle Angeline (Childs) Wells

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Estelle Childs Wells, age 65 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Tuesday, September 12, 2023.  Mrs. Wells was born in Winder, Georgia a daughter of the late George Doris Childs and the late Reba Bowles Childs.  Mrs. Wells was a member of Faith Penecostal Church and was a retired Dietician with the Clarke County Board of Education.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wells is preceded by a brother Johnny Childs.

Survivors include her husband, Joe L. Wells of Jefferson.  Two sons, David Pinkston (Donice) and Derick Wells (Amanda) all of Jefferson.  Sister, Pat Smith (Randall) of Ila, brother, Jackie Childs (Elaine) of Jefferson, sister in law, Judy Childs of Jefferson.  Nine grandchildren and  one great grandchild with one on the way.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 14, 2023 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Christopher Reeves and Reverend Matt Calvert officiating.  The family will receive friends 10:00 – 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Evans Funeral Home prior to the service.
