Obituary
Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Evelyn Shuford Wilson, age 75, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Monday January 30, 2023. Mrs. Wilson was born in Brevard, North Carolina the daughter of the late Albert C. Shuford and the late Betty Bird Shuford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Frederick Joel Shuford.
Mrs. Wilson was a elementary teacher with the Gwinnett County School System retiring after 30 years.
Survivors include her brother, Albert Charles Shuford (wife, Linda) of Greenville, South Carolina. Two nephews and three nieces also survive.
In accordance with Mrs. Wilson’s wishes, she will be cremated and her ashes will be intered in North Carolina at a later date.
