Mrs. Glenda Billie (Brown) Anderson

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Glenda "Billie" Brown Anderson, age 88, of Pendergrass, Georgia, who entered rest on Friday, August 16, 2024. Billie was born in Dublin, Georgia, a daughter to the late William A. Brown and Bessie Coleman Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband Mark K. Anderson and a sister.

A lifelong lover of books, Billie could often be found surrounded by stacks of romance novels, a testament to her romantic spirit and zest for emotional storytelling. Her affinity for dogs reflected her compassionate nature, always ensuring her furry companions received as much love as they gave. Above all, her dedication to her family was paramount. Billie’s warmth, generosity and unwavering love will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Anderson and daughter-in-law Vicki ChaCha. Grandchildren, Heather Berry-Wijaya and her husband Rudy, Megan Dang and her husband Anton, Tyia Franklin and her husband Jamie and great grandchildren Jillian, Ethan and Jonah.

In accordance with Billie's wishes, her remains were cremated and the burial will follow in the Evans Memory Gardens in Jefferson, Georgia.
