Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Gloria Lynn Pearson Smith, age 71 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Friday, June 14, 2019. Mrs. Smith was born in Athens, Georgia, the daughter of the late Ralph and Frances Standridge Pearson, was a retired seamstress and a member of Oconee Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith is preceded by two brothers; Jimmy Michael Pearson and Ralph Daniel Pearson.
Survivors include her husband Richard Smith of Jefferson, son, Shawn Smith of Lake Wells, Florida, a daughter, Michelle Autry and her husband Barry of Danielsville. Three grandchildren, Kelsey Bridges (Aaron) of Danielsville, Evan Crumley (Sam) of Danielsville, Zoe Crumley (Tyler) of Danielsville, and Tyler Autry of Baldwin. A great grandchild, Gus Bridges also survives.
In accordance with Mrs. Smith’s wishes, a private family memorial inurnment will take place at a later date.
