Obituary
Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Harriet Myers Woodyard, age 84 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Friday, August 18, 2023. Mrs. Woodyard was born in Atlanta, Georgia a daughter of the late Harry and Mary Lester Myers. Mrs. Woodyard was a retired Bookeeper having worked alongside her late husband Edward Douglas Woodyard at Woodyard Accounting. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Woodyard is preceded by a son, Edward Allen Yarbrough.
Survivors include a son, Jon Yarbrough of Jefferson. Three daughters, Kathy Helms of Lawrenceville, Lynda Yarbrough of Ellenwood and Cynthia Greenwood of Alto. A sister, Angela McAdams of Villa Rica, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.
In accordance with Mrs. Woodyard’s wishes, her remains will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a future date.
