Mrs. Jean (Green) Whitehead

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Eula Jean Green Whitehead, age 87, of Danielsville, Georgia who entered rest Tuesday January 14, 2025. Mrs. Whitehead was born in Jefferson, Georgia the daughter of the late Brasco Green and the late Endie Barnett Green Peck. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Edward Paul Whitehead, Sr., son, Roger Nathaniel Whitehead, granddaughter, Lisa Brookshire, sister, Beatrice Varnum and two brothers, Fred Holder and Harold Junior Holder.

Mrs. Whitehead was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her children, Billy and Cindy Whitehead of Commerce, GA, Shelia and Tony Osborne of Carnesville, GA, Paula Joanne and Donald McKie of Carnesville, GA, Harold Wayne Whitehead of Athens, GA, Paul Whitehead Jr of Danielsville, GA, Missy and Ben Hatcher of Watkinsville, GA and Billy Joe Whitehead of Danielsville, GA. Fifteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday January 17, 2025 at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Monk Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 P.M. at Hill Haven Cemetery, Monroe, GA. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home. 

Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Justin Whitehead, Jonathan Whitehead, Drew Miller, Mike Whaley, Nicholas Leanos and Gavin Martin.
