Mrs. Jeanie Norton

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Jeanie Norton, age 74, of Nicholson, Georgia who entered rest Sunday, January 9, 2022. Mrs. Norton was born in Palatka, Florida the daughter of the late Richard Deeson, and the late Rose Marie Goodyear Siemer. Mrs. Norton retired after 15 years with Nations Bank and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Statham, Georgia.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Michael Norton and a son, David Naylor.

Survivors include daughter, Samantha and her husband Page Brooks of Jefferson, GA; step - daughter, Michelle Norton, three grandchildren, Reis Brooks, Ivie Brooks and, Caleb Brooks; brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Linda Siemer of Yalaha, FL.

Memorial services will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Calvary Baptist Church, Statham, GA with Reverend Matt Dibler officiating. Private burial will be held at Evans Memory Gardens, Jefferson, GA. Family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. prior to the service at the Church.
