Obituary
Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Joan Marie Egan age 79 of Pendergrass, Georgia, who passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023. Mrs. Egan was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, a daughter to the late Veteran Henry and Eugenia Bialkowski. Mrs. Egan was retired but had worked as an Office Manager at an OB/GYN office in New Jersey where she formerly lived. She was an avid lover of Greyhounds and finally adopted Emma Feb 2019. She also loved to go out in search of old antiques for her house.
Survivors include her daughter, Rebecca Ann Egan-Nunez of Pendergrass, GA; son, Shaun Joseph Egan and his wife Catherine of New Jersey; grandchildren, Jared Egan, Ramon Nunez, Katie Shaw, Kelly Egan, Shane Egan and great grandchild, Brooks Shaw, also survives.
A private family memorial gathering will be held on a later date.
