Mrs. Joan Arlene (Charlesworth) Walker

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Joan Arlene Walker, age 79, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Monday June 2, 2025. Mrs. Walker was born in Grand Island, Nebraska the daughter of the late Walter Charlesworth and the late Phillis Glenn Charlesworth.

Mrs. Walker retired as an auditor with C & S Bank and attended Galilee Christian Church, Jefferson, Georgia.

Survivors include her husband of fifity-eight years, Thomas Lee Walker of Jefferson, GA. Two brothers, John Charlesworth of Indianapolis, IN and David Chalesworth (Susan) of Brownsberg, IN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. 

 Celebration of Life services will be held 7:00 P.M. Friday June 20, 2025 at Evans Funeral Home Chapel.
