Mrs. Karen Anita (Adams) Rose

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Karen Anita Adams Rose, age 73, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Wednesday November 19, 2025. Mrs. Rose was born in Athens, Georgia the daughter of the late Hall Adams and the late Hilda Nash Adams.

Mrs. Rose was a retired teacher with the Onslow School System, Jacksonville, North Carolina. She was a member of Union Baptist Church Winder, GA where she was a Sunday School teacher, taught Bible Study and sang in the choir. Mrs. Rose was also Minister of Education at Enon Chapel, Midway Park, N.C. She loved reading, spending time with her family but most of all she loved her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-two years, James Vance Rose of Jefferson, GA. Two daughters, Rebecca Parker (Cory) of Jefferson, GA and Beth Rose of Rome, GA. Three grandchildren, Alex Parker (Kaylee) of Dublin, GA, Rosie Parker of Jefferson, GA and Carson Parker of Jefferson, GA. One great grandchild, Joey Rainn (JR) Parker of Dublin, GA. Two sisters, Wanda Finlen of Reidsville, NC and Lori Alcorn (Richie) of Reidsville, NC. Two nieces, Annalisa Flynn and Sarah Alcorn and one nephew, Adam Finlen.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday November 24, 2025 at Union Baptist Church, Winder, Georgia with Reverend Jon Reed and Reverend Tyler Cloud officiating. Burial will follow at Evans Memory Gardens. Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Shay Miller, Dylan Mathis, Zach Mathis and Richie Alcorn.  The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home.
