Mrs. Linda Kay (Cooper) White

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Linda Cooper White, age 77 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Friday, June 12, 2026.  Mrs. White was born in Commerce, Georgia a daughter of the late Brady and Lessie Skelton Cooper.  Mrs. White was a member of Union Baptist Church and was a retired Mail Carrier with the United States Postal Service.  Mrs. White enjoyed baking, sewing and traveling and often was a Caregiver for the elderly.  Mrs. White loved flowers and gardening but most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. White is preceded by her husband of fifty-two years, Ralph Eugene White and a sister, Janie Cooper Roberts. 

Survivors include two daughters, Gina Huntsinger (Darryl) of Canon and Jenny Griffin (Gerry) of Jefferson.  Two grandchildren, Abbey Griffin (Cole) and Eli Griffin, two great grandchildren, McKinnley and Addison Griffin.  Two sisters, Barbara Reynolds of Jefferson and Sue Tolbert (Roy) of Jefferson.  A host of nieces and nephews and a special friend Cathy Montgomery also survive.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 16, 2026 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Kevin Page, Darryl Huntsinger and Callon Tolbert officiating.  The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday, June 15, 2026 at Evans Funeral Home.

Flowers are optional, memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. Linda Cooper White to the Charity of One’s Choice.
