Mrs. Loretta Mae (Longo) Pittman

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Loretta Longo Pittman, age, 77 of Pendergrass, Georgia who entered, into rest Wednesday, September 8, 2021.  Mrs. Pittman was born in Birmingham, Alabama, the daughter of the late John Benjamin and Loretta Doran Longo.  Mrs. Pittman was a homemaker and a member of the Walnut Fork Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pittman is preceded by a brother, Charles Wesley Longo.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-nine years, Leon Monroe Pittman of Pendergrass.  Son, Christopher Brian Pittman and his wife Karin Hollis of Jefferson, daughter, Wendy Lynn Pittman Clark and her husband Chris of Pendergrass, son, Tracy Monroe Pittman of Carnesville.  Brother, John Thoburn Longo and his wife Josephine of Buford.  Grandchildren, Chris, Jordan, Hunter, Slone, Creed, Cody, Justin, Jonathan, Evan, Grace, Emmaline, Elijah, Benjamin and Leah.  Great grandchildren, Tyla, Traxton, Kelbi, Aiden, Camden, Heyden, Jacob, Caden, Nate, Jackson, Preston and Avery.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 11, 2021, from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Strickland officiating with burial to follow in the Walnut Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.  Grandsons will be honored as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, September 10, 2021, at the funeral home.
