Mrs. Mae (Tolbert) Neese

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Mae Tolbert Neese, age 78 of Pendergrass, Georgia who entered rest Monday, August 1, 2022.  Mrs. Tolbert was born in Commerce, Georgia a daughter of the late Luther Calvin Tolbert and the late Vonner Evelyn Hall Tolbert.  Mrs. Tolbert was a member of Revival Baptist Church and was a Homemaker.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tolbert is preceded by her husband George Odell Neese, siblings, Barbara Ann Caldwell, Helen Ward, Betty Sue Tolbert, and, Hubert B. Tolbert.

Survivors include her children, Danny Neese of Pendergrass, Tommy Neese (Tonya) of Greensboro, N.C., Donna Hollis (Jimmy) of Pendergrass, Chuck Neese (Kelly) of Bogart, Lisa Bevin (Mike) of Gainesville, and Samantha Loggins (Brad) of Jefferson.  Siblings, Calvin Tolbert (Joan) of Hull, Brenda Langford (Jimmy) of Maysville, Carolyn Rohme of Hull, and Patsy Ginn (Rabun) of Athens.  Fourteen grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren and one on the way.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 4, 2022, from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Terry Page officiating with burial to follow in Woodbine Cemetery.  Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Cole Logins, Samuel Loggins, Ryan Hollis, Derik Page, Cameron Neese, Casey Morrison, Chris Harris, and Nick Page.  The family will receive friends 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Evans Funeral Home.
