Mrs. Marcia Lynne (Falvey) Nanna

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson shares with love the passing of Mrs. Marcia Lynne Nanna, age 76, of Jefferson, Georgia, on February 28, 2026, surrounded by her beloved family. Born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, Marcia was the cherished daughter of Robert and Millicent Bradshaw Falvey. Driven by her passion for nurturing and motivating students, she obtained an Educational Specialist Degree and committed her professional journey to serving the Gwinnett County School System.  With a cup of hot tea always in hand, ready to listen and offer wise counsel, Marcia was recognized for her consistent patience, kindness, and unwavering commitment to everyone she considered a friend. She joins her husband, Joseph Nanna, and her parents in peaceful rest.

Marcia's loving spirit lives on in her children: Christine and her husband Steve Hart of Jefferson, GA; Carol Nanna of Buford, GA; and Lisa and her husband Nick Paolini of Rochester, NY. Marcia was always her daughter’s greatest cheerleader and supporter.  She was a proud and caring grandmother to Abigail and Steven Hart, as well as Max and Cason Paolini. Spending time with her family always brought her immense joy and a smile to her face.

Honoring Marcia’s wishes, her family will hold a private remembrance gathering after cremation.
