Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson, Georgia, announces graveside services for Margaret Hancock Needham, age 82 of Phoenix, AZ.. Service to be at Woodbine Cemetery, Jefferson, Ga., Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 11:00 A.M.. She was predeceased by her husband, Tom of Port St. Lucie, FL; her parents, Nat and Martha Hancock of Jefferson, Ga., and brother, David Hancock of Jefferson. She is survived by her son, Jim Needham and Jamie Fox and their daughters Blayne and Tayler all of Phoenix, AZ; son David Needham and grandsons Conner and Chase Needham all of Alanson, MI; brother Nat Hancock (Sonya) of Gainesville, Ga., niece Kim Chichester (Pat) of Cumming, GA.; nephew Kevin Hancock (Christina) of Chelsea, AL., and six grand nieces and nephews, including her god child, Patrick Chichester of Cumming, GA..
Margaret was a proud graduate of the School of Pharmacy of the University of Georgia and exemplified professionalism in qualifying and practicing in several different states. She was an avid reader and belonged to multiple book clubs. She and Tom traveled extensively both nationally and internationally and closely followed her favorite sports teams. Most importantly Margaret was a loving, generous, fun filled person with a somewhat warped sense of humor. Her commitment to family during good times and bad was unconditional. She never hesitated to share her gifts, whether material or inspirational with others.
The ashes of her husband Tom will be interred at the same service.
