Mrs. Marjorie (Johnson) Faulkner

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Marjorie Faulkner, age 95 of Oakwood, Georgia, who passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Mrs. Faulkner was born in Chicopee, Georgia, a daughter to the late Buford and Beulah Kinney Johnson. Mrs. Faulkner was a Homemaker and was a member of the Blackshear Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Faulkner was preceded in death by her husband Grady Fornia “Bill” Faulkner, her son, Charles Faulkner, daughter Bonnie Smith and her sister, Norma Smith. 

Survivors include her son, David Faulkner of Oakwood, GA; daughter Kitty (Ronald) Yonce of Jefferson, GA, sister, Shirley Stephens, of Monticello, GA and Janet Blankenship of Rome, GA; 5 Grand Children, 11 Great Grand Children, and a number of other relatives also survive.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Woodbine Cemetery in Jefferson, GA.
