Mrs. Mary Frances (Ervin) Holder

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Mary Frances Ervin Holder, age 75 of Hoschton, Georgia who entered rest Monday, January 26, 2026.  Mrs. Holder was born in Homer, Georgia a daughter of the late Jeff Dyer Ervin and the late Ethel Owens Ervin.  Mrs. Holder was a retired salesperson for Georgia Auto Parts.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holder is preceded by her husband Darrell Holder, brother William Ervin and sisters, Sally Mae Ervin and Louise Ervin Bridges.  

Survivors include a son and daughter in law, Stoney and Vickie Ervin of Toccoa.  Brother, Albert Ervin of Homer, sister, Nellie Sue Cloer of Westminister, South Carolina.  Grandchildren; Tamara White (Jimmy), Ale Velasquez (Richard), Tre Velasquez (Samantha), Faith Grindle (Julian).  Great grandchildren; Parker White, Grayson Frymore, Lillian Velasquez, Tori White, Layla Velasquez, Kalhani Velasquez, Selina Frymore, and Oliver Stone Velasquez. 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 30, 2026 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Scott Collett officiating with burial to follow in Oconee Baptist Church Cemetery.  Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Tre Velasquez, Jimmy White, Wade Bridges, Mark Bridges, Lamar Bond and Clark McCarty.  The family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, Friday, January 30, 2026, 12:00 – 2:00 prior to the service.
