Mrs. Mary Lucille (Dobbs) Summerville

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Mary Lucille Summerville, age 75 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Sunday, June 28, 2026.  Mrs. Summerville was born in Atlanta, Georgia a daughter of the late George Wilburn Dobbs and the late Frances Farrington Dobbs.  Mrs. Summerville was of the Baptist Faith, enjoyed siteseeing in the mountains and was a homemaker.  Taking care of her family was of the most importance to her.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Summerville is preceded by two brothers, George and Bobby Dobbs and two sisters, Annette Herring and Shirley Bellew.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-six years, Ernest Odell Summerville.  Two sisters, Virginia Garner (James) of Jefferson and Martha Watkins of Rome.  Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

A Family Memorial Service will be held at the residence of Mrs. Summerville, 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 30, 2026
