Obituary
Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Melanie Lynn Marks Munsell, age 59, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Saturday April 8, 2023. Mrs. Munsell was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, the daughter of Mrs. Patsy Thompson Hammonds of Oak Island, North Carolina and the late Jimmy Melvin Marks.
Mrs. Munsell worked for Athens Orthopedic Clinic, Athens, Georgia in the insurance/billing department, was attending Calvary Chapel, Flowery Branch but most of all loved to travel with her husband, Ray.
Survivors include her husband of thirty-five years, Mr. Ray A. Munsell of Jefferson. Mother, Mrs. Patsy Thompson Hammonds of Oak Island, North Carolina.
In accordance with Mrs. Munsell's wishes, she will be cremated.
