Mrs. Olivia (Borders) Bailey

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Olivia Borders Bailey, age 80, of Athens, Georgia who entered rest Friday, May 16, 2025.  Mrs. Bailey was born June 18,1944 in Commerce, Georgia a daughter of the late Henry and Roxie Jones Borders. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bailey is preceded by her husband, Joseph Bailey. 

Survivors include her son, Jason Bailey (Suprena), grandchildren, Brooklyn Bailey, Taylor Bailey and great grandchild, Nilha Watkins. Brother, Douglas Borders (Betty),  Homer;  sisters, Carolyn Williams and Elijay Borders both of Atlanta.  A host of nieces and nephews also survive.

In accordance with the wishes of Mrs. Bailey, her remains are to be cremated and a private memorial service will be held on a later date.
