Mrs. Paula Lynne (Serenko) Matzko

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Paula Lynne Matzko, age 79 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Friday, December 26, 2025.  Mrs. Matzko was born in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of the late James G. and Regina Usuka Serenko.  Mrs. Matzko was the retired owner of an Insurance Brokerage Firm.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Matzko is preceded by her husband John Michael Matzko.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

In accordance with the wishes of Mrs. Matzko, her remains will be cremated and no services held.

Memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. Paula Lynne Matzko to the Humane Society of Jackson County, P.O. Box 567, Jefferson, Georgia  30549.
