Mrs. Phyllis Marlene Turpin

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Phyllis Marlene Turpin, age 70, of Talmo, who passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018. Mrs. Turpin was born in Wileyville, West Virginia, a daughter to the late Lewis and Alberta Stern Wykert. Mrs. Turpin was a Homemaker and had worked as a florist. Mrs. Turpin was a member of the Talmo Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Turpin was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Turpin. 

Survivors include her sons, Rodney Turpin and Bryan Turpin both of Talmo; sister, Lavonda Wright of Wileyville, WV and brothers, Jim Wykert, Louie Wykert and Tim Wykert all of New Martinsville, WV.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Talmo Baptist Church with Reverend Mark Spence officiating. The burial will follow in the Talmo Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 9, 2018, in the Talmo Baptist Church, prior to the service.
